CANTEEN at Pacific Place

I bet you guys already know about Canteen. Since it's not a new join in town. I first know Canteen at their Plaza Indonesia branch. But this time, I'm visiting  their other branch at Pacific Place. This is because they just renovated their branch here. That's what make me curious. And other things, my friend Chacha who craving for their Burger so much.

Entering Canteen means we should passing through the ak.sa.ra store area. The restaurant area look more spacious now. They split it into 2 area. The outdoor that look like bus stop, with a glass that covered the sitting area placed in the left and right side of the entrance.

Entering the restaurant area, we will welcome by their Bar Area. You can choose many selection drinks, cocktails even wine from their bars.

Canteen still loyal with their old theme interior. With a vintage look, Canteen interior dominated with wooden furniture and bricks for the wall. It was pretty tricky take a pictures here, since they have a dim lighting for the entire restaurant. But it give effect a bit romantic though. I love sitting infront of the big window. We can see the city while we eat. Plus the big windows give more spacious effect to the room.

Now let's find out the menu. A bit confuse when I saw the menu list. I felt like... I want this and that... Hahaha So typical...

CAESAR SALAD WITH GRILLED CHICKEN - IDR 55.000
Love this Caesar Salad. With crunchy romaine lettuce that still taste fresh, crispy beef bacon, and croutons. Served with grilled chicken. It has a big cut with a tender texture. The portion also pretty big. At first I want to make this salad for an appetizer. Before I ordered their other menu. But then, I become full with right away. Nice salad!

CANTEEN CHEESE BURGER ON BRIOCHE WITH BEEF BACON AND SALSA 
- IDR 80.000
To be honest, at first I don't have much expectation to this cheese burger. But then, we I taste it, I have to admit, this burger is great. Unlike the usual burger that only use ketchup or barbeque sauce, this burger use salsa sauce that have spicy and sour taste. This sauce really elevate this cheese burger. Also love the patty. It still juicy and tender. They cooked it right. Plus the brioche bun, it fluffy and moist. They said its homemade. Served with big cuts of french fries.

Ice Lemon Tea - IDR 30.000

Overall, we have so much fun here at Canteen. The service also good and fast. Will comeback again someday to dig in other's Canteen menu.
