Been a while since my last visit to Hummingbird Eatery. Placed in Kuningan City Mall Jakarta, Hummingbird Eatery offering a western and Asian menu that surely you must try. They firstly open their 1st store in Bandung, West Java. Having the same concept, they want to brought another selection place to dine.
The venue is really unique. With a birdcage look like as their seating area. Dominated with wooden furniture. Make the restaurant really cozy and a nice place to eat.
Whether you come with family friends or just with your couple, Hummingbird sitting area, have a convy place. With all non-smoking area.
SALMON CHAHAN - IDR 69.500
Salmon Fried Rice mixed with shitake mushroom and topped with sunny side up egg and pan fried salmon.
From the menu, this salmon Chahan looked promising. Me and hubby always loved everything served with salmon. But too bad, Salmon Chahan that Hummingbird served not that spectacular. The salmon is too dry and overcooked. The rice also taste a bit bland and dry. Guess they have to improve this menu.
CREAMY MEATBALLS - IDR 79.500
Served with Mashed Potato or French Fries and Vegetables.
This meatballs taste pretty decent. The texture of the meatballs is juicy but not too smooth. I like the consistency of the sauce. Not too thick or sloppy. Served with mashed potato, that have pretty smooth texture and well seasoning.
HAM & CHEESE MELT QUESADILLA - IDR 69.500
Parmesan Tortilla with Basil, Beef Ham & Melted Mozarella Cheese
I always like the combination between basil and cheese. It so fragrant and yummy. The basil and tomato itself make the cheese taste not too overwhelmed. And other things that I love was, Hummingbird gave the ver generous filling under the tortilla.
At the end, I love dine here at Hummingbird. The service also great.
