Food Testing at Bakerzin Artisan Bread - Central Park

Yesterday me & my girlfriends was invited for Food Testing at Bakerzin Central Park. They about to launch 2 new items at store. Since Bakerzin is opening their new store at Central Park, one of Big Shopping Mall. Bakerzin have 77 sitting capacity in outdoor and indoor. Bakerzin is cafe - a casual fine dining restaurant managed by Boga Group that specializes in dessert, entree and of course main course such as salad, steak, pizza and pasta.


So, while we seated and heard the MC's little speech, the server begun served the 'lil cute menu like canape and panacotta. The panacotta taste so smooth and good. Also the canape. Taste good.

Not for long, then came out the Bakerzin Chef to demonstrate the new menu. First menu was Duck Convey Pasta. It's a duck served with spaghetti and some herbs. The herbs smells good. The duck smooth inside and crisp outside. The spaghetti also cooked well. Not sticky. Even though it's a bit spicy, but I think that what makes the duck flavor more fabulous.  Just love it. It all blend well.

The second menu that Chef presented was Velvety Strawberry Mousse. It's a red velvet cake pour with Strawberry Puree Mouse. Me as a dessert lover, love this cake so damn much. Not too sweet, a bit sour and so smooth. it blend in my mouth. uumm... can i have moree... LOL

1 bite is never enough
After that we tried some other menus. Such as Salmon Steak, that taste great. Salmon's texture was tender, the herbs blend inside the salmon. Grilled salmon served with sauteed baby potatoes and mixed vegetables. But the carrot a bit overcooked, not good. But it's forgiven with all the grilled salmon presentation and taste.

Then came out the Sirloin Steak. Wooww... so much things in one plate. Can make you stomach full in a minute lol... The meat is big and have a tender meat. Medium rare meat, grilled well. Sirloin steak served with  sauteed baby potatoes, asparagus and baby tomato. And since we choose mushroom sauce among 3 choice of sauce : Onion red wine, black pepper mushroom and basil pesto cream sauce, so there's shitake mushroom as another dish in my plate.

Other main course was  Bratwurst Lasagna. I thought it served in not too big plate. But when it came... wooww... it serve in a hotplate and the lasagna was big enough. Filled with layers of pasta, fresh tomato sauce,creamy mozzarella cheese and sliced bratwurst sausage, spinach. So imagine how it taste. Yuummmyy...

Those all still not the end. There still desserts. Heeii... this Bakerzin is dessert cafe aight? So it's not right if we not try the desserts. First thing came out was Bailey's Irish Cream Souffle. It's like a bread with sugar in the side of the cake but more smooth and blend in mouth. Try to eat together with the Bailey's sauce yuuumm...

Next things was Vanilla Cream Brulee. Every time i ate this menu, i felt like play hide and seek. Why? Just imagine, you get the crunchy caramel brown outside and got the yellow custard inside. The taste is great. The caramel cooked well.

The 3rd dessert was Chocolate Profiteroles. It served with 3 scoops of chocolate ice cream topped on puff pastry with sprinkled icing sugar and chocolate sauce. For chocolate lover, this must be heaven.

After all those great menus we need some refreshment. Based on Bakerzin's server suggestion, I ordered Homemade Ice Lemontea. It's not just an ordinary lemontea. because it served with 1 scoop of vanilla lemon ice cream. Also Ice mint Tea that have the same refreshing feeling in one glass.
Last one there was a Iced Honey Lemon. Ice tea with honey on bottom of glass and 3 pieces of lychee.

Overall, despite some of the pretentious dish names, most of the dishes we tried were delicious and presented beautifully. Although the prices were a bit pricey, but I think it's suitable for it menus and the taste.
